UTA Conference October 10 – 12, 2011

The 2011 United Township Association of Indiana Fall Conference will be held at the Embassy Suites Indianapolis North October 10th through 12th.

Township Board Elimination Bill Defeated in Senate

SB 405, which would have eliminated Township Boards and transferred township fiscal and legislative authority to the county council was defeated in the Senate by a vote of 21 for and 28 against.

Little Nevins Township Makes Big Difference

Nevins Township of Vigo County received a $5.2 Million grant from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources Division of Reclamation/Restoration.
